"To Bring Novices to Experts By Learning From Others"

Zoom Camcorder Club is Swindons most popular Camcorder club, meeting on the third Thursday of every month at St Barnabas Church hall, Gorse Hill, Swindon. Zoom has a wide range of members, from ex professionals, to complete novices, this rich mix of members creates a unique club.

New members are welcome, in fact they are heartily encouraged , membership rates are only £12 per year, plus £1 which is contributed on each meeting.

Meetings often include screenings of members films, tutorials on aspects of video production, talks by seasoned pros all conducted in a laid back atmosphere. To complement our monthly meetings the group has also started to take on paid video projects, the latest of these involves producing two dvds for Cricklades Steam Railway, this gives an excellent opportunity for home camcorder users to experience and gain insight to a commercial video project.
